Kids is our children’s ministry. Vital Church is a community of multigenerational worshippers. We are purposed to give children every opportunity to experience and recognize worship with their parents. Kids are in the worship center with us every Sunday service until after praise and worship. They are then dismissed to their programming just before the sermon, but are welcome to stay with you in the worship center for the rest of service. Then every fourth Sunday we observe "Family Fourth" where all ages are in the main worship center for the entire service. Because your child's safety is our top priority, all our volunteers are background-checked and we encourage parents to connect with our teachers & helpers.

Infants - Toddlers 0-3

Caring leaders introduce babies and toddlers to God's love by creating a safe, comfortable atmosphere. Parents always have access to their little ones and can check them in at any time during the service.

Kids 5-11

Children from 4-10 have the option to go learn about the Lord through an intentional teaching of scripture in our Kids programming on Sunday mornings. This time is tailored to teaching each child to understand God's Word through the reading of scripture, watching an animated lesson video based on the passage, and making a craft that helps the lesson take shape. The kids are also led in prayer over their requests.

How We Teach

Our kids a taught from The Gospel Project, a chronological retelling of God’s big story from Genesis to Revelation. The full benefit of The Gospel Project is realized when kids see Jesus in every story not just one time, but again and again. Our teachers use this program to teach scripture to each child in age-appropriate ways that are doctrinally sound, missionally minded, and above all, Christ centered.
